Behind The Scenes
One of the most interesting things about shooting behind-the-scenes imagery is the opportunity to illuminate aspects of the filmmaking process for audiences. Creating stills that pull back the curtain and give insight into this amazing industry for non-filmmakers is one of my favorite parts of the job. Giving the audience a chance to look at a behind-the-scene still and understand just what went into making that project that they love is very compelling to me. I also always make an effort to photograph all members of the crew. So often these are once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, having an image that captures those moments is critical. You may do several takes but you only make a movie once. Documenting that process through still imagery is key.
